A Prayer…

All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord,
And Your godly ones shall bless You.
 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom
And talk of Your power;
 To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts
And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.                                                       Psalm 145:10-12

Lord,

…”And Your godly ones shall bless You…”—I don’t even know what to do with that. How can we bless You? How is that even possible? I am so blessed. Blessed with life, forgiveness, love, security… How can we—I—bless You? Why would You allow that? Why would You permit that? Why?

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”  John 5:5-6, 8-9, 13-14

Can you imagine? Being an invalid for 38 years and then being healed by a man who you didn’t know, who then disappeared into the crowd. And then a little later your healer comes and finds you. He actually returns to find you and Continue reading
